NORTH LODGE
The "North Lodge" has been our main lodge up here in Saskatchewan awhile. While we are proud of our lodge, how it sits overlooking a huge waterfowl sanctuary is a huge bonus! In fact, it's not uncommon for that sanctuary to hold over 1 million waterfowl in the fall. Having close birds is always a plus too!
The area we hunt waterfowl in this zone pretty much has everything that decoys in this flyway. We have tons of snow geese, Canada geese, Specks, Crane, and yes... PLENTY of ducks! You'd be quite impressed to see the sights we do on a normal basis during the migration...it's just something you have to experience.
Another unique thing about how we waterfowl hunt in this area, is we run all of our hunts out of our own custom trailer blinds. They are designed to be comfortable, mobile, and of course...hide well in the prairie. Our guests love our blinds and how they hunt.
SOUTH LODGE
Our "South Lodge" is our secondary lodge with a bit different way of offering waterfowl hunts in Canada.
This area, located around 2 hours south of Saskatoon, Saskatchewan, also offers a large volume of ducks and geese during the migration.
The main difference between the 2 lodges is the lodging itself and how we hunt. The South Lodge are for our guests who want are more economical trip and to stay in their own, private house (instead of the big lodge). You'll still have excellent sleeping quarters and all the same good food (just off-site).
We do hunt differently as well that we don't hunt out of trailer blinds, but are usually A-frame or layout blinds (depending on the hunting situation).

NORTH LODGE
The Northern Skies Outfitters Canada fall hunt prices are per person. Our lodge check-in process is around 4pm the day before your first guided hunt. Please check out on the final day, no later than 2pm (last day is only a morning hunt).
We have a required minimum of two hunters in your group. If your hunting party consists of more than 10 hunters, you will have the big lodge and field hunts to yourselves.

DUCK HUNTS WE OFFER IN CANADA
We pretty much ALWAYS have ample numbers of ducks around, as well as many species. We do tend to harvest a lot of ducks in the fields such as mallards, pintails, widgeon and a handful of other species at times.
While we normally target geese in the mornings, and ducks in the afternoons...we at times do well on both in the morning which would warrant a more quiet afternoon.
We also have a lot of sloughs and potholes around our area, which also offers different opportunities to hunt ducks in Saskatchewan, Canada.
HUNTING GEESE IN SASKATCHEWAN, CA
If you have an interest in hunting snow geese in Canada, well, you're in the right place! We get high volumes of geese in our areas, often pushing 7-digits in numbers. While we do have a lot of snows and Canada geese, we also have specks and crane normally in abundance, too.
We pride ourselves on being veteran guides who know how to hunt geese and be mobile doing it. It involves a lot of windshield time scouting, prepping, and of course, making a memorable goose hunt happen!

WHAT ABOUT HUNTING SNOW GEESE IN THE SPRING IN SASKATCHEWAN, CANADA?
Starting around the end of April and into the month of May, our areas stacks A LOT of staging snow geese. At this time of year, they're putting the feedbags on as they prepare for a long flight up to the tundra for breeding.
Not only do we have high volumes of birds, due to the very light pressure the play pretty darn nice as well. We are mobile and hunt feeds each day, no permanent decoy spreads.

Travel Information Into Saskatchewan, Canada
We recommend hunters fly in and out of Saskatoon, Canada. Depending on your arrival and departure flights, you might need to stay overnight in a hotel near the Saskatoon airport (overnight stays in Saskatoon are not covered in the price of your hunt).
You will rent a vehicle and drive to the lodge which is approximately 1 hour and 15 minutes (drive time).
